Nursing Communicable Diseases

The event featured speakers on Find and Treat services, nursing communicable disease in prison, as well as policy information and targeted practical advice on treating Tuberculosis, HIV, Hepatitis C, and improving Flu Immunisation in hard to reach groups.
The QNI also launched its Health Assessment Tool which has been designed to help nurses during assessments of the health of homeless people, and to promote the best standard of care.
