Wendy is an experienced children’s nurse, manager, and leader.
She is a registered nurse in adult and children’s nursing and holds the specialist practitioner qualification (SPQ) in Children’s Community Nursing (CCN).
She first worked in the community in Manchester and London before settling in Hampshire where she specialised in paediatric oncology and palliative & end of life care within the community setting. She supported CCNs across the central south coast area as a paediatric oncology nurse specialist before becoming a clinical matron, ending her NHS career after 33 years, in clinical facilitation.
She is passionate about learning and teaching, and sharing her skills and knowledge with the next generation of community nurses.
