Fellowship of the QNI was introduced in 2000, with the aim of creating a body of support for the Institute that could provide advice on nursing practice, research, policy and heath service management.

Our Fellows are known leaders within their sphere of expertise; usually primary care or community based services. They often have a previous or on-going connection with the Institute. And they are people with a high profile and the respect of their peers, who are willing to advocate on behalf of the Institute.
