Overcoming Psychological Trauma: How can we improve the quality of local health and housing systems?

The QNI’s Homeless Health Programme in partnership with Northumbria University brings you a learning event about Overcoming Psychological Trauma.
This event will support the work of community healthcare professionals working with people who have complex psychological trauma and may also be of use for nursing students. Topics covered will include adverse childhood episodes, rough sleeping and mental health, complex trauma, psychologically informed environments and giving the right support in traumatic times.
Our event is free to attend and lunch is provided. The event is kindly hosted by Northumbria University.
Speakers include:

- Tom Johnson (invited), Project Manager – Mental Health Delivery, NHS England
- Dr Jai Shree Adhyaru (invited), Team Manager, Children & Young People’s Trauma Service, Central and North West London NHS Grenfell Health & Wellbeing Service
- Dr Suzanne Elliott (invited), Clinical Psychologist – Homelessness, Leicestershire Partnership NHS Trust
