Queen's Nurses and QNI Extend Condolences to HM the Queen on the Death of HRH Prince Philip

Queen’s Nurses have joined the Staff and Trustees of The Queen’s Nursing Institute in extending their sincere condolences to Her Majesty the Queen on the death of her husband, HRH Prince Philip, the Duke of Edinburgh.
The Duke passed away at Windsor Castle on Friday 9th April.
A statement from Buckingham Palace said: “It is with deep sorrow that Her Majesty The Queen announces the death of her beloved husband, His Royal Highness The Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh. His Royal Highness passed away peacefully this morning at Windsor Castle. Further announcements will be made in due course. The Royal Family join with people around the world in mourning his loss.”
The Duke was the longest-serving consort of a British monarch and had been married to Her Majesty the Queen for 73 years. He died just two months before he would have celebrated his 100th birthday.
