Christine O’Connell has been a trustee of the QNI since 2017.
She brings experience in both the corporate and charity sectors. After many years in corporate strategy and business development at Thomson Reuters, she now works as a freelance business consultant. She has advised a number of charities and social enterprises through the Pilotlight programme and the Social Business Trust.
She is a Governor of Cumnor House, and a member of the Finance and General Purposes Committee. She is also the founder of One More City, an annual cycling campaign to support research into secondary breast cancer at Imperial College London. She is a patient advocate for the Institute of Cancer Research and serves as a member of the Patient Advisory Panel at the Francis Crick Institute. She holds an MBA from London Business School, and degrees in Politics and International Relations from Georgetown University, Oxford University and Sciences Po.
