Rebecca trained and staffed as a nurse at University College Hospital in London before completing the NHS Graduate Training Scheme.
With over 25 years in management she became the first Director of Organisational Development at the Royal Free Hospital in London.
She has worked in senior roles across the NHS, social care, voluntary sector and education and is a trustee of a charity that runs a community hospital in North Norfolk.
An Associate Professor at London South Bank University, she is part of the faculty that runs clinical leadership programmes.
Alongside her leadership and education roles, she undertook a return to practice programme working part time in a district nursing team in North London which enabled her to understand the day to day reality of community healthcare.
She completed a doctorate in complexity and management at the University of Hertfordshire Business School in 2023.
