A community nurse by background, Ami is known nationally for her work in primary and community nursing.
She has extensive experience in the NHS at Executive & Non – Executive Director levels in commissioning and provider authorities and in associated organisations including the King’s Fund, Nursing Times and Higher Education institutions. Ami is currently the Governing Body Nurse Member on Southwark and Lambeth Clinical Commissioning Groups.
Over the last ten years Ami has led a community nursing consultancy Quest for Community Health engaging a team of community nursing experts from academic and clinical backgrounds. The Quest team has developed a set of unique acuity and frailty tools to audit Community Nursing services across UK.
The Quest audit results have helped enhance the quality of community nursing and shape services to meet the opportunities and challenges in the NHS. Ami is particularly pleased with the Quest outcomes achieved utilising the clinical expertise of the Quest Auditors observing real time community nursing securing a rich source of audit information.
Ami lives in Kent with her husband and is the proud grandmother of five absolute gems.
