A nursing degree offers exciting and hands-on training via a range of placements while you learn, giving you the opportunity to make a real difference in people’s lives. Pre-registration (undergraduate) nurses must complete clinical placements during their degree. There is a growing number of placements available in community healthcare and these offer great potential for learning and career development. Examples include District Nursing, General Practice Nursing, Health Visiting, School Nursing, Occupational Health Nursing, Community Children’s Nursing, Community Mental Health Nursing, Community Learning Disability Nursing, Care Home Nursing, and Inclusion Health Nursing.
