Matthew joined the QNI in 2008, managing communications, marketing and branding for the charity.
He has worked for a number of voluntary organisations in the UK and the US, in areas including health education, youth work, environment, wildlife and heritage. He also worked for the Charity Commission for England and Wales from 1998 to 2001.

Matthew studied Modern History at Lincoln College, Oxford. As an amateur historian, he also manages the QNI’s archive.
