Suzanne joined the QNI in 2016 as a Keep in Touch Project Officer.
Her work centres on overseeing a telephone befriending service, staffed by volunteers, for retired Queen’s Nurses and District Nurses.
Suzanne originally trained as a Personal Assistant and has worked for a variety of organisations, both large and small, before deciding to move to the charitable sector twenty years ago. Since then she has worked on many volunteer-led projects for several charities including Age UK Lewisham & Southwark, which included providing one-to-one befriending for older clients.
Suzanne herself volunteered for more than twenty years and believes strongly in valuing volunteers.
Suzanne lives with her husband and two very spoiled cats!
