QNI Announces New Organisational Membership Scheme

The Queen’s Nursing Institute (QNI) has announced the launch of a new membership scheme for organisations providing community health services in England.
The new membership scheme is currently open to all standalone providers of community services. Integrated provider organisations will be invited to join in the coming months as the scheme develops. The scheme will be overseen by Steph Lawrence MBE (pictured).
Membership allows nurses and allied health professionals to access a range of benefits from the QNI, including CPD webinars, career development sessions, and a political influencing programme for staff to gain a deeper understanding of how local health services are affected by political decision making at a national level.
I am absolutely delighted to have worked with Directors of Nursing and Chief Nurses over the last 18 months to develop the offer of membership of the Queen's Nursing Institute for all organisations providing community services.
The response has been 100% positive. Membership of the QNI provides all nurses and allied health professionals of the member organisations with access to our considerable expertise in supporting their professional development and their careers. Our unique member platform allows access to all the resources developed and provides an excellent user experience.
I am thrilled that Steph Lawrence MBE, Queen's Nurse, QNI Fellow and Chief Nurse of Leeds Community NHS Trust, has joined the QNI to advise on and oversee our organisational membership offer. Her expertise will be critical to growing the offer from standalone community providers to all integrated providers and I very much look forward to working with Steph in the next stage of the QNI's evolution as a professional organisation.
