Anne has been a Fellow of the QNI since 2015. She qualified in 1986 in Scarborough.
She has gone on to undertake a variety of roles relating to service change and innovation including being part of the team who set up NHS Direct in West Yorkshire. At NHS Direct Anne developed an interest in how nurses use information and technology and since then has gone on to national leadership roles in what is often called ‘informatics’. Anne champions access to digital tools for all nurses including those working in community settings and general practice. Anne is also active on social media and champions its use for professionals and patients.
