Nurses play a pivotal role in advocating for sustainable initiatives within healthcare settings, such as reducing medical waste, implementing eco-friendly practices, and promoting healthier lifestyles to prevent illness. By prioritising sustainability, nurses contribute to a healthier planet and, in turn, healthier patients and communities.
