Rosemary became a Fellow of the QNI in 2013. She has a background in nursing, as well as in health policy and management roles, and from 2005 to 2012 she was Director of the QNI.
Rosemary’s current role is Chief Executive Officer of the Institute of Physics and Engineering in Medicine. Rosemary has been a Visiting Professor of Enterprise at Northumbria University, and is currently an Honorary Professor at Buckinghamshire New University. In 2008, she was awarded an Honorary Doctorate from Manchester Metropolitan University and was made CBE for services to nursing and healthcare.
Rosemary is the author of ‘The Nightingale Shore Murder’, the story of a Queen’s Nurse whose brutal murder shocked the country in 1920. Rosemary lives in York with her partner, and happily very close to her two daughters, son-in-law and grandson.
