New information and communications technology is changing the way that nursing in the community is being delivered. Digital technology is improving all the time and has huge potential to help nursing teams to deliver care safely and effectively. However, there are challenges in adapting to new systems and making the best of the potential that they offer.

The Queen’s Nursing Institute held two events this autumn for community nurses, where we explored the new digital technology platforms that are available, and asked the experts and users of these systems for advice about getting the best from them.
