Covid-19 Grant

In 2021, we received additional funding from the charity CHSA specifically to help nurses affected by the Covid-19 pandemic.

We have been able to award additional grants to support some that have been affected by Covid, and some who have had long Covid and are still not back to working their usual shifts. Some people had their work patterns affected, for example because they were bank staff, some had to isolate or pregnant, or lost their childcare provision; and more recently some have been affected by the loss of the uplift in Universal Credit.
